Take advantage of Rotherham's 400kms of public rights of way by enjoing a walk through the picturesque countryside. There are lots of short walks around a number of areas throughout the borough. Alternatively take in the local culture as you past many historic buildings and places of interest on one of our heritage trails.

Why not try one of the several designated walks around your area. These walks make the most of public footpaths through the picturesque countryside.			We have a number of self guided hertiage trails, including a Medieval and Victorian trail taking you past a number of historic sites in Rotherham.

Alternatively, Rotherham offers you the chance to take part in a wide range of outdoor activities including cycling, horseriding and fishing.			The Trans Pennine Trail is the country's first purpose built multi-purpose network. Rotherham lies on the North South link of the TPT running from the Dearne to Chesterfield.
