Really Simple Syndication (RSS)

RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication and it is an easy way for you to be kept updated automatically on websites you like. Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use RSS to get them to tell you every time they have something new.

Clicking on the RSS symbol This is the RSS Feed Icon will open a XML (eXtensible Markup Language) file which can be read using special feed software. This software is known as an RSS Reader and this will display RSS information from chosen websites on your computer.

Popular RSS readers include (most RSS readers are free):

Wherever you see the RSS symbol you can sign up for a RSS feed. Click or copy the address in your browser window. You can then follow the instructions provided by your news reader to add this feed to your list.

As the site is updated the RSS feed will be automatically updated and your feed reader will display the headlines with links to the full news stories.

Providing you agree with our site policy you can use the feed free for personal or non-commercial purposes only.
