Maltby Sports Centre

With its 3 pools, the centre caters for almost every indoor water-based activity.

The programme offers a wide range of sessions for all tastes, ages and abilities.

Early morning fitness swims, adults only, ladies only, parent & toddlers and many more!. Public swimming is available throughout the day, every day of the week. Families and children can have fun on the Jurassic Run inflatable and floats in the fun sessions.

The centre is home to Rotherham's only diving facility with 1m and 3m springboards and a 5m platform, and is also host to Maltby Diving Club and Maltby Sub Aqua Club.

A comprehensive swimming and diving lesson programme provides the opportunity for children and adults to develop their swimming skills. For the more adventurous, there is the opportunity to broaden their skills or find new interests such as personal survival, lifesaving or lifeguarding; sub aqua, canoeing, water polo or diving.

Aquafit classes operate twice weekly, or if you prefer to keep dry, Step Aerobic classes are also available.

All the facilities are available to hire for functions from Birthday Parties to Supersplashes, or sponsored swims to swimming galas. The activities room accommodates up to 120 people and can be used for dry sport activities, seminars and so on.

Maltby Sports Centre is situated in the centre of Maltby, just off the main A631, on the B6376 Braithwell Road. There is ample free parking. Or just a short walk away from the bus stop for the 101 & 102 routes from Rotherham; the 287 & X7 route from Sheffield; the 146 & 147 routes from Doncaster and Worksop.
