Organising An Event

The Rotherham Public Events Advisory Group has been set up to help organisers ensure the safety of all events held in the borough, however large or small.

If your event is to be held on the highway or in a public place, such as a park or village green, you will need to complete the event application form which is in the Event Pack.

The Event Pack includes:

• application form
• risk assessment guidance and form
• terms and conditions
• advice and information
• accident report form

If your event is approved, you will receive a letter confirming that the event can go ahead.
