Vandalism of Highway Property

Vandalism is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime.

The Council has implemented measures, such as  CCTV coverage and improved street lighting, aimed at preventing vandalism within highway areas, to street furniture and to street lights. Where the vandalism has taken place to highway property, Streetpride will carry out repairs.
