New, high quality retail, leisure, office, residential and public space schemes will give the town a new lease of life, helping to change it forever.
It's a dynamic vision that's being realised by the Rotherham Renaissance Town Team that represents a wide range of public, private and special-interest groups.
Backed by Yorkshire Forward as part of its regional Renaissance Towns programme, the Council is working in partnership to deliver an exciting, forward-thinking vision for the economic, environmental and social aspects of the town's landscape.
Rotherham Renaissance forecast to attract around £2bn in investment, mostly from the private sector. It's a 25-year vision, but we're already beginning to see real improvements, with several projects already complete and others making an appearance.
