The Council operates the following markets:
Centenary Market Hall - Indoor Market
Centenary Market - Outdoor Market
- These markets are held on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8.30 am to 5:00 pm. Traders should be there by 9:30 am and should stay open until 4:00 pm as a minimum.
- There are 115 fixed stalls, all undercover. Lighting and power provided.
- Stalls are £15.20 or £16.95 on Mondays and £15.95 or £17.75 on Fridays and Saturdays, depending on the size of stall allocated.

Town Centre Street Market
- This is a 40 stall street market held along Effingham Street, Rotherham, held each Tuesday.
- Stalls are supplied but there is no power or lighting.
- Stalls are £19.40 for traders who also trade permanently on one of the other general markets or £32.90 for traders who only wish to trade permanently on the Street Market.
- Casual traders will be charged £19.40 for the first 3 weeks, after which they must trade on one of the other general markets or become a permanent trader on the Street Market only at a daily rent of £32.90.

Farmers' Markets
Farmers' markets are held occasionally throughout the year. See the

Rawmarsh District Market
- Opening times usually between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm each Tuesday & Friday.
- There are 24 fixed stalls without power.
- Stalls cost £5.40 on Tuesdays and £6.80 on Fridays.

- There are 24 stalls.
- Traders supply their own stall. There is no power.
- Pitches cost £1.20 per foot.

Trader Information
New traders should come to the markets office for 8.30 am on the morning of the market they wish to stand for allocation of a stall.
Prior to allocation, traders need to produce the following:
- A completed stall application form which is for the relevant market.
- An Equal Opportunities monitoring form.
- A car park regulations acceptance form
- Proof of name and address (e.g. Driving Licence, Bank Statement or recent Utility Bill)
- The appropriate stall rent.
Stall application forms and the Equal Opportunities monitoring forms can be obtained at the Markets Office or they can be downloaded here, and brought along already completed on the day.
