The 'One for One' scheme for Carers and Personal Asssistants
If you qualify for a Rothercard and you are assisted by a carer ( a relative or friend ) or personal assistant in a paid capacity ) you can apply for a 'One for One' sticker to be placed inside the front of your Rothercard. The 'One for One' scheme entitles carers or personal assistants to :-
- free admission at RMBC leisure facilities when accompanying you to ensure that you may safely participate in a sporting activity.
- admission at a Rothercard rate at theatres in Rotherham
- act on your behalf to access Rothercard discounts at libraries by showing both your library ticket and your Rothercard carrying the One for One sticker.
One for One initially applies to the RMBC services listed above. If any private discount provider accepts the One for One scheme in the future a symbol will appear against their entry in our Discounts leaflet.
How do I apply for 'One for One'
You must already qualify for a Rothercard under the existing rules. If you wish to apply for a 'One for One' sticker you will qualify if you are joining Rothercard showing proof of one of the following benefits:-

If you are joining Rothercard showing proof of any other benefit/qualifying condition and also wish to apply for 'One for One' you will also need to show proof of one of the following:-
